Partnership Spotlight: The Calgary Stampede
< Back
Last week we dusted off our cowboy boots, donned a few ten-gallon hats and enjoyed coming together with our communities in Calgary for the Calgary Stampede!
Whether you were born in Alberta, just arrived, or are visiting for the first time, the Stampede offers something powerful: a sense of history of the land and its people.
We’re honoured to support an event that unites small towns and big cities alike in a shared celebration of prairie pride, our history, our values, and our future.
We hope you enjoy these highlights of our time stampedin’!
Lady Warrior Races
We are proud to support the Lady Warrior Races. These races showcase not only athleticism but also the deep cultural roots of Indigenous Relay Racing—a tradition passed down through generations.
They’re a powerful celebration of Indigenous tradition, resilience, and excellence. The women of the Lady Warrior Races carry more than the torch of competition—they carry the legacy of their nations, communities, and ancestors.
Relay racing has been a part of Indigenous culture for generations. Supporting this event is part of our ongoing commitment to truth, respect, and reconciliation.
To all the incredible Lady Warriors who raced with heart and honour this year—thank you. You’ve inspired thousands and reminded us why supporting Indigenous’ voices matters!
CREB Boots & Buckles BBQ
The Stampede not only brings about the opportunity to enjoy great concerts and the world’s largest rodeo, but it also gives us the chance to connect with great minds in the community.
It was a privilege to once again join the Calgary Real Estate Board for their Boots and Buckles BBQ. We had the opportunity to connect with industry pros to chat about how our services, like MoveBuddy, can be a real asset to their business by making their clients’ moving experience a whole lot easier (and more affordable).
Coming together with everyone really brings out the spirit of teamwork and collaboration that the Stampede is all about!
Time with the Community
Arguably our favourite thing about Stampede is the opportunity to connect with all of you in our community! From pancake breakfasts to parades, the Stampede brings together people from every walk of life in a celebration of community spirit and shared tradition.
The Stampede is a gathering place for Canadians from all walks of life—rural and urban, east and west, young and old.
From volunteers to families, artisans to elders, this gathering is a powerful reminder of how tradition can strengthen community. We are so honoured to support an event that helps keep Alberta’s spirit thriving—yesterday, today, and for generations to come.
